Water transfer is a process that diverts water from rivers, oceans, canals or other bodies of water with a overflow of water to be diverted to another area with lower water levels or ones that have none at all. The purpose of water transfer is to help struggling environments that have low water levels, damage to a current water pumping damage, or for temporary reasons until a permanent solution is made.
The benefits of water transfer are to bring water to an area that is in need for increased water flow, irrigation, supply, or other reasons necessary to support it’s surrounding environment.
